Who operates this site
PaycheckBase is operated by an individual, not a company, and is offered free of charge. Questions about these terms can be sent to contact@paycheckbase.com. That address is monitored on a best-effort basis and is not a support line for individual tax situations.
Educational estimates
Results are estimates based on the inputs and supported rules displayed by the product. They are not tax, legal, accounting, investment, payroll, or financial advice and are not a guarantee of an actual paycheck, refund, balance due, or savings amount.
No professional relationship
Using the site does not create a professional-client, fiduciary, employment, or payroll-provider relationship. Consult official agencies, your payroll department, or a qualified professional when accuracy is material to a decision.
Data and availability
We aim to use current, documented rules but cannot promise that every source, jurisdiction, edge case, or service is complete or continuously available. Check the methodology and source date shown with an estimate.
Acceptable use
You may use PaycheckBase for your own personal or internal business planning, and you may share links to estimates freely. You may not:
- present the estimates as official payroll, withholding, or tax determinations, or resell them as such;
- scrape, bulk-download, or automate requests at a rate that degrades the service for others, or circumvent rate limits;
- attempt to gain unauthorized access to the site, its infrastructure, or its provider accounts, or probe them for vulnerabilities without permission;
- use the AI features to submit unlawful content, other people’s personal information, or attempts to extract the underlying prompts or provider credentials;
- use the site in violation of applicable law.
Access may be rate-limited or blocked where use appears to fall outside this section.
No warranty
The site is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. No advice or information obtained from the site creates any warranty not expressly stated here.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the operator of PaycheckBase is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or for any lost profits, lost savings, lost data, or tax penalties, interest, or underpayments, arising out of or relating to your use of or reliance on the site — even where the possibility of such damages was known.
Because PaycheckBase is provided free of charge, the operator’s total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the site is limited to fifty United States dollars ($50).
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation of certain damages. Where that is the case, the exclusions and limitations above apply only to the extent permitted, and nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Advertising, affiliate links, and third parties
Advertising and affiliate offers are disabled unless explicitly configured. If enabled later, sponsored links will carry a visible disclosure and may compensate PaycheckBase without increasing your price. Third-party products, sites, pricing, privacy practices, and claims remain the responsibility of their providers; a link is not tax or financial advice or an endorsement of suitability.
Printed and saved estimates
Browser print and Save as PDF create a local copy of the estimate currently displayed. The copy is an educational snapshot, not a pay stub, tax return, filing, voucher, or guarantee.
Paid services
PaycheckBase currently charges for nothing, and no part of the site collects payment details. If a paid feature is introduced later, its price, billing terms, and refund policy will be presented before any charge and these terms will be updated to cover it.
Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated as the product changes. The effective date at the top of this page records the current version, and continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
